Important: The steps in this article have been updated to reflect app version 8.2.0, please update your app today for the best Canary experience. | |
If you no longer need a location or if you accidentally created a duplicate location when you set up your Canary device, and you are the owner of the location, you can remove it from your account.
The first user to set up Canary is the owner of the location. Only the owner can remove a location as long as there are no activated devices or Premium Service associated to the location.
By deleting a location, all videos and bookmarks that are currently on the timeline will be removed and will no longer be accessible. If there are any videos you have not saved, please take the time to download any videos you would like to retain before deleting the location (downloadable videos only available with Premium Service).
You must then cancel or remove any active subscriptions you have on the location. Any installed devices must also be removed from the location. You can read more about removing a Canary device here.
Note: To learn more about locations, please see Location overview.
Please follow these steps to remove a location:
- Open the Canary app.
- Tap the grey arrow in the top left corner and select the location you would like to remove by tapping Go
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Tap My location.
- Tap Remove location.
- Tap Remove.
