If you are a Premium Service user, there is no limit to the number of devices you can have in a single location. If you are on Basic Service, you can have up to 4 devices in a single location.

How to set up your device:

1. From the Dashboard tap the gear icon in the top right corner. 2. In the menu, scroll down to "Take Action", can tap on "Add a device". 3. Select the type of Canary you are setting up. 4. Next "Add Premium Service" or tap "I don't want premium security". 5. Plug in your Canary device. 6. Follow the onscreen steps to pair your device. 7. For the Canary Pro and Canary View, place your hand on top of the device for 30 seconds. For the Canary Flex press the button on the back of the device. 8. Tap on the serial number when it appears. 9. Select your Wi-Fi Network. 10. Enter your Wi-Fi password, then tap on "Next".
Once connected to the internet, your device will download the latest firmware and update. Please note this can take up to 15 minutes. Do not unplug or interrupt the process. Please follow the onscreen steps to update the name of your device, and check the settings on the device. Your app will show when the device is fully updated and online. |
