You can check your Canary’s firmware version via the Canary app on your smartphone. You might need to find this if you’re troubleshooting your device with customer support.
To check the firmware version:
- Open the Canary app.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Tap My devices.
- Tap the name of the Canary you’d like to check.
- Tap About this Canary.
The firmware version will be listed below the serial number of your device. If you need to update your device to the latest version, send an email to support@canary.is that includes the serial number for the Canary device that needs to be updated. Your Canary’s serial number is located on the bottom of the device.
