At Canary we understand the importance of security and discretion with our devices. Our customer’s have reached out to us about establishing a dimming feature for the Canary LEDs. We are excited to announce this new feature.
The dimming feature is available for all Canary devices which allows users to turn down the device’s LED brightness. The dimming feature is accessible through the device settings page. Please ensure that you are updated to the latest app version 7.8.0 and your Canary is on the latest firmware version 7.0.0 and above.
- Open the Canary app.
- Tap the Gear icon in the top right corner of the Home Screen.
- Select My devices.
- Select the Canary device you would like to customize.
- Toggle Dim LED lights to reduce the brightness level of your device.
Please ensure that you are updated to the latest app version and your device is on the latest firmware version.
