surveillance signage in the areas of nyc apartment
Do nyc residents require to place signage in the areas of their apartments where security camera are located? If so, can you provide the verbage so that customers can be in compliance.

Canary cameras come with a little sticker that you can place on your door for instance letting people entering your premises know there is a security camera. NY is a one-party state so you can have your camera on as long as you are there. The camera can be used as evidence for a break-in or intruder.
You can not use a camera inside a space to monitor a sub-leased tenant for instance.Comment actions
