No sound on video clips

    Hello Sheryl! 

    Sorry to read that you're having issues with your playback. 

    The issue could be that your sound is not enabled, please try the steps below: 

    iOS:

    1. Open Canary app
    2. Tap the gear icon. (Top right.)
    3. Go to My account.
    4. Tap Preferences.
    5. Tap on Notification sound.
    6. Here you can choose a sound based on your preferences.
    7. Go back to My devices.
    8. Choose a device if you have more than one.
    9. Confirm that "mute microphone" is not toggled on.

    Please do this for each device.

    Android

    1. Open Canary app
    2. Tap the gear icon. (Top right.)
    3. Go to My account.
    4. Tap Preferences.
    5. Tap on Notification sound.
    6. Here you can choose a notification sound from your library.
    7. Go back to My devices.
    8. Choose a device if you have more than one.
    9. Confirm that "mute microphone" is not toggled on.

    Please do this for each device.

    I would also recommend seeing if you can hear any sound on your recordings through your WebApp on my.canary.is
