1. How do I link my Premium Service to my Canary device?
In order to link your Premium Service, you need to set your device up on your account. You can do this by following these steps:
- Open the Canary app
- Tap 'Add Canary device' and select the location where your Premium Service is active.
- Select your type of Canary device
- Follow the onscreen instructions
- Enable Bluetooth access when prompted to do so
- You will be asked if you would like Premium Service. Please tap Add Premium Service.
Once your device has finished updating, the device will show as active and online. Your Premium Service will now be linked to your new device.
2. I have activated my Canary device and Premium Service subscription, why are the features not working with my device?
Your Canary device should automatically be linked to your Premium Service subscription during the setup process. If this is not the case, the most likely cause of this issue is that the Canary device has been set up in a different location on the account than where the Premium Service subscription is activated.
The easiest way to re-link your Premium Service to your Canary device is to remove the Canary from the account, and then re-activate it in the correct location where your subscription is active. You can contact the customer service team for assistance at any time.
Deactivate Canary Device:
To remove your device, please perform the following:
- Disconnect your device from the internet by unplugging it
- Open the Canary app
- Tap the gear icon in the top right-hand corner
- Tap ‘My Devices' from the settings menu
- Tap on the Canary you wish to remove
- Scroll down and tap ‘Remove Device’
- Read the confirmation and enter your Canary password
Reactivate Canary Device:
To set up your Canary device once again, please perform the following:
- Power-cycle your Canary device by unplugging it for 30 seconds or if it's a Flex, hold the button on the back for 12 seconds
- Turn off Bluetooth on your mobile device
- Open the Canary app
- Tap 'Add Canary device' and select the location where your Premium Service is active
- Select your type of Canary device
- Enable Bluetooth access when prompted to do so
- Follow the onscreen instructions

You may receive a pop-up advising you of the cost of the subscription, however, no payment will be required as you already have an active subscription.

3. I moved home and can’t access Premium Service features at my new address, what can I do?
If you cannot access Premium Services features at your new home, it is possible that your subscription is associated with your previous address.
