If a Person is detected in Away mode, and you’re unable to respond to Canary’s initial notification, the event will be escalated to our Professional Monitoring experts, who will assess the situation and escalate to emergency responders if needed.
Do I need to use Canary cameras to sign up for Professional Monitoring?
Yes, you will need to have a Canary home security camera in order to sign up for Professional Monitoring. Visit www.canary.is to browse Canary home security cameras today.
How do I order Professional Monitoring?
You can sign up for Professional Monitoring on your desktop web-app at my.canary.is. You must have a Canary device already set up to subscribe to a Professional Monitoring plan. If you have any questions regarding this service, feel free to call us.
To purchase Professional Monitoring through the Canary App:
1. Open the Canary app.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap My services.
4. Tap Learn more.
5. Tap Upgrade to Professional Monitoring.
6. Please choose a device, and tap Add Professional Monitoring.
7. Please choose Monthly or Annual Professional Monitoring, then tap Add Professional Monitoring.
8. Follow the on screen instructions to confirm the payment and continue.
9. Tap OK to return to the app.
