Download the Canary app on your Apple TV to view your Canary devices on your television.

You can use an Apple TV to interact with your Canary in the following ways:

• Watch Live
• Bookmark events
• Delete events
• View location members

If you have multiple locations associated with your account, you will be prompted to select a location when you open the app. If there is only one location associated with your account, you will be taken directly to the location screen.

From here, you can Watch Live from any Canary device at the location by selecting it on the top section.

You can toggle between all the videos on your Timeline and the bookmarked videos using the two buttons below the device selection area.

You can also see which location members are home, by looking for the green home icon. 

Top Shelf

When the Canary app is on the Top Shelf of your Apple TV, then you can view the latest thumbnail from each of your devices. Selecting a device will instantly launch the Canary app with the watch live view of that device.

Watching a video clip

Click on a thumbnail with your Apple TV remote and it will begin playing in fullscreen mode. To minimize the video, press the menu button on the Apple TV remote.

To fast forward or rewind the video, swipe forward or backward on the Apple TV remote, then click the button when you see the fast forward or rewind icon appear next to the cursor.

Bookmarking or deleting a video

While a video is highlighted on the event screen, you will see buttons on the right side of the screen to bookmark or delete a video.
