How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account by following the steps below:

Tap on the gear icon in the top right corner.

Tap My account.

Tap Password and Security.

Tap Delete account on the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your password.
- Tap Delete account.
Depending on your subscription and if you're a location owner or not, you will need to complete a few extra steps before tapping the final delete account.
Deleting your location if you are a Location owner with location members
If you'd like to keep the location, but delete your account:
You will be asked to transfer the ownership of your location to another member of your location. This is to ensure that you have the option to change the location owner without interrupting the video security of the location.
Once a location ownership has been transferred, the new owner will be emailed.
If you have Premium Service or Professional Monitoring on the location, the new owner will be asked to update the payment information.
If you'd like to delete the location and your account:
You are not required to transfer ownership. Instead, you will then need to cancel any recurring subscriptions, and remove your devices from each location. You can find information on how to do this by clicking into the following articles:

Deleting your location if you are a Location owner with no members
If there are no other members on your location, you will need to cancel any active Premium Service or Professional Monitoring subscriptions, and remove your devices. Then you will be able to delete your account. You can find information on how to do this by clicking into the following articles:

Deleting your location if you are a Location member (non-owner)
As a location member, you will be able to delete your account without having to take action on recurring subscriptions and devices.
Deleting your location if you are a PS24 or PM24 subscriber
If you currently are, or previously were a Premium Service 24 or Professional Monitoring 24 customer, please contact us at support@canary.is to delete your account once the contract is satisfied.
