Canary makes insurance smarter and more affordable. We've partnered with two of the top insurance providers in the US to unlock savings for policyholders who own and use Canary.
Simply for using a Canary device with Premium Service in your home, you may be eligible for a discount on your insurance premium. Discounts vary in amount by state and by level of insurance coverage. The discount is usually given in the form of a percentage off the annual premium amount which the policyholder pays to their insurer (e.g., 7% off of $150/year premium for a New York City renter in the Lower East Side neighborhood).
Eligibility can be determined by contacting the insurer directly (through the agent or customer service hotline). Insurance discounts may not be limited to Canary's insurance partners – users who have other providers should contact them to see if discounts are available.

Some limitations on discounts apply. Discounts are only available in certain states and in some cases, certain insurance products may not be eligible. Canary does not guarantee any level of. Discount eligibility is determined solely by the insurance provider.

What discount am I eligible for?
Only your agent can tell you for sure, but typical discount rates are 2% on home owner’s insurance and 7% on renter’s insurance premiums.
